How To Pay for College Booklet
I wrote this 20 page booklet for a local financial firm to hand out as a free resource during their “Paying for College” seminars. We worked collaboratively to make sure all the important financial details were included, and it has now been delivered to families with college bound kids across the Greater Hartford area. It is used as a resource and as a lead generation tool to start the conversation with future clients. This booklet is updated each year and in 2021, I expanded it into an ebook-length book (roughly 100 pages). (click on image to view)
Funnel Campaign Copy
This project included creating the funnel copy for a digital product, two video sales letters (VSL’s) and two sequences of email copy. The funnel copy brings the customer through each stage of the buying process. The first VSL is a ten minute presentation for the main product. The five minute second presentation offers an upsell to the original purchase, or a One Time Offer (OTO). Email copy followed, the first sequence is in the event of someone opening the cart and then leaving… an abandoned cart sequence. The goal is to entice the customer to return and complete the purchase. The second email sequence is an on-boarding sequence after purchase. The goal of the onboarding sequences is to nurture the relationship with the customer. (click on image to view)
Course Strategy, Sales Page Copy, and Design
Created strategy for SLO offer based on researched voice of customer data. Developed course concept for stranded bloggers to teach them to use their skills to become online service providers. Wrote sales page copy and designed a mini sales page using Elementor Page Builder. This project was my Capstone Project after completing three written exams on Offer Creation, Copywriting, and Design for the Funnel Gorgeous Marketing Certification program, and this project earned me a place in the first graduating class of FG Master Marketers. Homeschooling Consultant Website, Funnel, Emails and Sales Pages
Website Copy and Design
Worked with client’s existing branding to create a new website. Conducted extensive market and customer research in order to craft copy that converts. Her goals were to have a website to send her conference attendees to in order to promote an upcoming workshop. The website was created on WordPress using Elementor and a highly customized Funnel Gorgeous template. Click to view the Home page and about page.
After research, I created a wireframe for the homepage to present to the client in order to go over messaging details and overall concept. Then incorporated the existing branding colors and client comments into the final product for the homepage, about page, and a sales page for the upcoming workshop.
The workshop sales page led to the sales cart and delivery assets, built in the funnel software FG Funnels. I provided all tech support for this project, ensuring integration with Stripe and Paypal.
Emails: Sales Sequence
After completing the website copy and design, and funnel planning, mapping, writing, and design, I wrote the emails for the sales sequence for the homeschooling workshop. The emails helped sell the workshop, which converted at industry benchmark standards for a successful workshop.
Sales Page Copy for Online Conference
The client requested copy only for an upcoming online conference. I used the homeschooling market research from the previous projects to craft a sales page for the summer online conference. The client incorporated the copy into her own web design as a cost savings.
Developed Brand, Custom Assets, and 1 Page Website
We were on a tight deadline to develop an online website, complete with conversion focused copy, branding, and custom design for a career coach for an upcoming speaking engagement.
We developed her messaging and an offer and chose to complete a one page website that would work for the engagement, with the plans to finish building the website out in the future.
I developed a logo, a business card, a flyer, the one page anchored website, and a blog template page so she could continue to grow her content.
VIP Day Social Graphics and Additional Assets
Trying out a new model, I completed a beta VIP day for an existing client where I provided her with 10 custom graphics in the client’s branding for us on social media. I also recorded a training for her so she would know how to edit and re-use them.
Full Website Expansion for Return Client
We continued the work from the one page website and rearranged and expanded the website to meet the current business needs.
Outreach and Email Communications for Nonprofit
I coordinate digital communications for my church. Each week, I receive input from ministry leaders and create all email communications for an email list of 3,000+. Three emails per week, including my own custom graphics are shared across ministry departments and on social media. My approach to transforming the communications for the parish has helped to keep our parishioner base engaged and attending online and in person events.
I have reinvented the way we communicate, creating and using graphics and sharing landing page links instead of sharing pdf’s via text based emails. The use of landing pages has made finding the information for our programming easier to access and therefore has increased participation in events. Developed 150+ Page Website
Developed a WordPress website, collaborating with staff of 10 and 40 leaders in the community.
I have set up systems to streamline inquiries to the many ministries and volunteer opportunities we have, increased people’s knowledge of the extensive programming we offer, and reflected the thriving and dynamic community we have to anyone who arrives on the website. Comments from our website’s ease of use, welcoming feel, engaging content, and easy access to understand how to get involved are frequently received. The work I have done on our website and through our emails has made a positive difference to our community.
